A level Maths and geography with applied science

Hello, my son is hoping to start New College, Swindon in September. He has just passed 10 Gcse's and wants to do A levels in Maths, Geography and BTEC Applied Science. He doesn't know which direction he wants to go down in University afterwards, but as his mum I am worried he may be penalised doing a BTEC, but this course would suit him better. Where could we also find degree options he could do assuming he passes these?

He can search for university degree options here: http://search.ucas.com/ and then click on whatever uni course he's interested in, go to the Entry Requirements section and look at what subject (and grades) they require and if they accept BTEC applied science.
