A-Level home schooling (anxiety)

In a few days, I'm starting year 12. However over the past 8 months my anxiety has became so bad that the thought of school freaks me out and I worry about it and then it would lead to a panic attack. For my exams, I had to do them at my house as there was no guarantee that I would make it in or if I could manage to stay the whole time. I've decided to do sixth form instead of college (my anxiety flares up whenever I'm away from home). Has anyone done their A-Levels from home (with a tutor)? What are the pros and cons? (There's not much information on the internet)
Sadly, as with all types of anxiety, avoiding the thing you are anxious about will not make it go away. I would put your case as similar to those who failed their A-Levels first time round and had a job while they revised for their retakes. Loads of them on here
