What's it like studying International Relations at LSE? How enjoyable are the classes/how is the courseload/is it what you expected it to be?

Also, how difficult is it to get in? I understand that competition for places is pretty intense. I'm an American applicant with 5s in AP Macro, Micro, US History, European History, Chinese, English Language, Biology, and Comparative Govt and Politics (predicted 5s in Calc AB, Statistics, English Lit, US Govt and Politics, and World History). I'm unsure about my personal statement, as I focused a lot of it on speech and debate -- I'm ranked 4th in the state in an event that requires me to analyze foreign affairs. What are my chances for getting in?
