I think this is sound advice. I am a male white revert who has married a British Pakistani. We have two beautiful children mashallah. I have the utmost respect for my wife and her familly who have taken me in as one of ther own. They are the definition of brave as far as I'm concerned. It can work, and as a result our household is full of love and no resentment. My advice is that it depends on the familly and how they interpret thier beliefs, approach them with respect and speak hypothetically to start with. Remember being a good Muslim is fundamentally about being a good person, and being a good person is about how you make people around you feel, race doesn't even come into it. Forget the poison, because anyone that makes you feel bad about something that is innocent is not really a good muslim, along with the 5 pillars nothing else matters. As a UK citizen I support the right for people to choose who they marry, other wise there can only be segeration.
my partner is a muslim. We met in a skip. His name is rummaging.
