I was wondering the same thing. I received something yesterday from the Law Dept. with order forms for tickets for a law society evening. I don't know what is happening with everything else - especially the ball. What happens there - do we buy a ticket now and then hope there will be some people to go with?

Hope this isn't off-topic, but I have to ask this: How do you pronounce 'Grosvenor'? My friend told me it's pronounced 'Graw-Ver-Ner'. Is this true?

i had a teacher with that as a surname and we all pronounced it as grow-ver-ner

About the gold card, I presume that if I'm out with some friends who don't have gold cards, they wouldn't be able to skip the queue with me? If not, it seems a bit pointless in getting it if most of my friends don't (apart from the discount, of course).

Enter your email address, and then hit the 'join a school network' button.

Remember to set it as your primary network (on the same network page).

Also after you join a new network you have to go back to the privacy settings and set them right. Facebook assumes that you want to share your profile with all the members of your new network when you join it.

I dont think I completed and sent off either as im on a gap year, and I cant chose my courses and have my admission "finalised" untill I complete them.

Suggest you contact ug-admissions at once. These forms had a deadline for return, which was around mid-August I think. failure to return them was an indication (or so they said) that the offer holder was no longer interested in their place.
