depends what you're using them for. if it's just to watch them offline, then most likely yes. have a look at youtubes fair use policy.

They don't have the resources to sue millions of people, and they don't own the vids on their site but the person who has uploaded it so they'll be the one suing you if you were to use their video to make profit from.

In most cases, other than fair use, it is illegal to download videos from youtube.

And what constitutes "fair use"?.
And by the way i'm not really going to download the videos themselves because that site converts them to an MP3 file.
So basically I am just going to download the audio part of the videos.
