Unis don't cash in your grades, exam boards do. It'll be done automatically and you'll get your certificates around October or November.

Thanks for the reply.

I got ABBB in my A Levels and needed ABB to get into my insurance choice. So at this stage I could decline one of the B's and resit it in January(while still at my insurance choice) as I still meet the requirements to get into uni?

Check with the uni to make sure, but yeah, I don't see why that would be a problem. Bear in mind that unis have exams in January as well though, or at least mine does, so there's a possibility you could end up with a clash.
