Yeah, that's what I know I'm definitely not going to enjoy too...

Damn there being so much maths in a comp sci degree..apparently I have to do 4-6 hours a week :frown:

coz i failed to meet my grades and it was teh only way they were gonna let me into teh uni

When I was going to uni the thing that scared me the most was meetin gnew people. It's the first time that you have to consciously 'make friends' (well it was for me anyway). When you first start nursery/primary school you're too young to realise that you're making friends with people, your parents usually put you with their friends children and so you're likely to get along. Then when you go to high school you already know all the people from your primary school so there's no great need to make new friends- it kind of happens naturally. Sixth form is the same. Everyone knows everyone. But uni, you're on your own for the first time. I think people in halls have a great advantage over those who aren't because you get the same kind of thing as when you were a kid - a ready-made large group of people that you will definitely see every day, which makes it far easier to make friends.
