One has a foundation year, the other doesn't.

I'm sure you can figure out why one offers a foundation year and why the other one doesn't!

It's is 6 years instead of 5 years.
Different unis have different criteria you must meet. If you under performed they won't consider you. If you have reasons why you under performed e.g your in a **** school been in care etc they consider you. Some unis have the course with the criteria that you have grades but the wrong subjects. e.g someone who did not take biology but has chemistry then you would do a foundation year.
