Maths Reading

I'm just wondering what books might be useful to read before starting a maths degree? Or if there's any topics worth studying in advance?

I would recommend you at least buy What is Mathematics? or Bridging the Gap to University Mathematics. You can take a look at Imperial's full reading list here: http://www.imperial.ac.uk/mathematics/undergraduate/degree-courses-and-admissions/recommended-reading/.

And if you haven't done FM/FP3, you should probably take a look at that.

especially if the purer side of mathematics appeals to you
