TEFL Internship

Hi folks, I am thinking of applying to do an internship in China for 4 months teaching English in a school. I think that it would be a fantastic experience and I look forward to it.

I recently graduated in Mechanical Engineering and was told by a friend that this internship is only good for people that want to teach, but I know a few other people doing a similar internship and don't want to be a teacher at it's conclusion.

So my question is does anyone on this have previous experience doing such an internship? Any advice would be greatly appreciated :smile:
