How does Uni Adjustment Work?

You are eligible for adjustment if you have exceeded the requirements for your firm offer. Your firm offer is held for 5 days, allowing you to contact other unis and try to go to a better uni.

Adjustment is a chance to reconsider your position and apply for 'better' universities. To be eligible you need to have met all your firm conditions, and exceeded them (e.g. you had to get ABB and you got AAB).

On your track choices page there is a button that says 'register for adjustment'. You need to research and contact universities you're interested in yourself, there isn't a list of options on the UCAS website but many unis will list courses that are open to adjustment on their own websites. Once you have found a course you like, phone the university, tell them you're applying through adjustment and give them your UCAS ID. If they accept you then you lose your original firm offer, if they don't accept you, or you can't find anywhere you like, you keep your original firm offer.
