So I haven't applied to many places and was curious... on results day can you still apply to collages/Sixthforms???

I should expect so. Give them a call and see what's happening but generally colleges and 6th forms are happy to accept students that will do well on their courses. I'd recommend ringing up a couple of days before, though, because they're going to be really busy on results day.
