bumps on back of tongue

So I have some red bumps near the back of my tongue ie. by my tonsils. Is this normal? can some people check their tongues lol. the bumps are probably the same size as a bullet point or slightly bigger. I also have tonsil stones at the moment and so I'm wondering if it could also be a sign of infection or something more serious.
