I'm hoping to go to uni to do nursing, physiotherapy or primary education etc. I'm currently studying Biology and psychology at a level and I'm doing a BTEC extended certificate (equivalent to one a level) in health and social care and an EPQ. Will the fact I'm doing a BTEC instead of a third a level limit me in what unis I can apply to?? I'd like to apply somewhere like Leeds, York or Manchester etc.

Just check each webpage thats 3 courses and 3 unis.
I would say 95% chance of causing no problem at all. Even Oxbridge will accept the 2A level 1 BTEC combination.

Some courses like Medicine do not, but that doesnt affect you here.

If you have trouble googling those 9 pages, then I will help out but should be straightforward to read and id be surprised if for any of those courses your qualifications (grades aside) arent absolutely fine.

Nursing
Ok Manchester you have an issue and should contact them. I still think you would be ok as you have the 2 A levels but Btec isnt mentioned.

Leeds
Fine distinction for the btec and B's for the A levels.

York
Fine and same as Leeds.

You can look up the others yourself.
