Open days

Do I have to go to open days for all of my choices? I think I am going to struggle to get to all of them so how do I decide which universities are good for me without the open days?

Take a look at the modules in the course you want to do, see which topics in the modules interest you the most. Look at accommodation and all the photos, and search up the city/place the uni is in too and get a feel for where you’d be living. Unistats can be helpful, usually they’re on the bottom of the page about your course on the uni website-it tells you about student satisfaction ratings, employability etc. Something else that might be good is looking at people who already go to that uni, so you could have a look and see if there are any vloggers on YouTube, people with blogs, search the hashtag for that uni on social media... you’ll be able to see posts from people who are already there and see how others like the uni
