I like a girl but she is an international student

I met a girl while on a night out at uni, we had a good time and exchanged numbers and contact details and are currently talking.

I have a feeling she likes me and I like her. The only problem is that she's an international student and is only here for the duration of her masters course.

I'm holding back my feelings towards her because I know this will only last a year max and then when she goes back home to Australia I'll never see her again.

Anyone else been in this situation? If she was born here I would girlfriend her in a heartbeat but I don't know how to take it from here. It would suck to drop it just like that but the truth is i'm only interested in a long term relationship not something that will expire in 11 months time. I dont do LDRs either, i don't believe in them. I do like her though :frown:
