Course: Theatre (Performance and Production)
Undergraduate/Postgraduate: Undergraduate
Offer made?: BBC
Other Uni's applied to? York, Lincoln, Kent, Lancaster
Any questions?: Are there any opportunities to study/perform Greek Theatre or Shakespeare, and/or to learn Stage Combat?

I'm just trying to finalize my decision between a few unis
Hi Bethan, congratulations on your offer! There are opportunities to do both of these, they are both covered in the second year. They are both two separate modules but are both very practical!

Hope this helps

Hi @apricotnatalia,
Congrats on your offer!
My name is Abby and I am a current 2nd year student at Chi Uni studying music. In your first year there is a module which is purposely for dance development and the lessons are streamed so that you will be in the same class as people of the same ability as you. This is the link to the course page on the uni website which details what you will be learning so feel free to have a look on there for further information!

Question - I was wondering what the graduates of the Acting/Theatre courses in the last couple of years are up to? I am looking to, post training, gain a place for a masters at a drama school or go straight into work, and am unsure how likely this would be?

Hi Liv, great question!

You'll be able to find what some of our Alumni are up to after they graduated: https://www.chi.ac.uk/department-theatre/alumni

Our most notable alumni is Victoria Atkin who played Jason/Jasmine Costello in Hollyoaks and is currently working in motion capture and voiceover of video games such as Evie Frye in the Assassins Creed Franchise.
