My school didn't do a Crime and Punishment mock and so I'm quite worried as I don't really know the questions that well.

I think there’s gonna be something on public execution

Extended question that incorporates modern Britiain since last year both longer questions (12 and 16) were the other time periods

But they might not put it in since most people will have general knowledge about modern laws and punishments etc
Hi, does anyone know how to structure the 8 mark 'How useful' question?

Hi, does anyone know how to structure the 8 mark 'How useful' question?

So two paragraphs, one for each source. You do not need to compare the sources to each other.

In each paragraph, you need to consider the provenance (nature, origin, purpose) of the source, the content in the source and your own knowledge so you can decide if the content is accurate. You then need to make a judgement on how useful the source is: e.g a cartoon drawing from a cheap newspaper in Whitechapel May be useful to whatever the question says, but you need to be weary as newspapers often sensationalise to sell more papers and their main purpose is to entertain.
Source A:
The source is useful because it tells us... (quote the source)
The author/ date/ purpose makes it useful because...
However, the source has limitations. For example, it fails to mention...(use own knowledge)
In addition, it is also limited in terms of author/date/purpose. For example...

Do for both sources and then...
Overall, the sources are partially/mainly/completely useful because...

It summarises C&P in under an hour. Go to sleep early as well.

Good luck :hugs:
