Medicine Adjustment 2019

Hello,

I was wondering if anyone had gone through adjustment for med and have gotten in?

I got an offer from one medical school but it is soooo far away from home. I do not expect to come home every month or so but I do want to come home sometimes when things are not great and 250+ miles seems so daunting.

I have 3 options- perform really well and then go through adjustment , take a gap year and reapply in 2020 with good grades or just suck it up and leave to go up North.

Adjustment would be the dream but it might not be possible. What do you guys think?
Personally I would just go as you’ll end up as a doctor but it is your choice
If you're desperate to become a doctor, I'd just suck it up and go up North. General statistics indicate 1 in 10 applicants get into med school so I wouldn't throw this opportunity away.
