all i can say is..we got merked in the tables this year lol
Suggesting that you can get a first just because it is more focused is a ridiculous suggestion. Especially if, since you are in this thread, you are studying law... getting a first is outrageously difficult. Yeah I did it, but lots of people don't even get a 2:1 who are extremely clever, so let's not get ahead of ourselves shall we.
The point made above was the best one: concentrate on getting the best grades you can, and worry about the likelihood of being accepted anyway come results day.
