Shouldn't be, but it is something you should keep an eye on and see somebody about if it was more than a little nip. Basically mouths are gross and have loads of bacteria in them that shouldn't be in fingers so any type of bite can get infected and that's when it starts becoming serious. If any animal or person has bitten you and its broken the skin you should really see somebody. In most cases just popping into a pharmacy should be fine. If you make sure it's clean, get it looked at and keep an eye out for early signs of infection you should be totally fine.

I'm sure it goes without saying that if the bite is deep or bleeding loads and loads you should seek medical advice. That could be going to a walk in or urgent treatment centre or calling 111 (they can book you appointments at places like hospitals or urgent treatment centres so you don't have to wait as long).
