Does anyone know if they’ll have to complete the nursing placement hours

Hi, I have a friend that goes to uwe to study nursing and has been pulled out from placement due to corona virus;
Does anyone know if they’ll have to complete the placement hours given for the ‘year’ Or if they’ll have to complete it next year?
Because I know that to pass the year and move to the next , they’ll have to complete the ‘yearly ‘placement hours.
Did anyone hear from they’re university of what’s going to happen.
It’s 2300 hours for 3 years.
