Can anyone recommend a affordable yet high performing laptop for uni, which can handle uni work and has a decent amount of storage.

uni work isn't a demanding task for a standard laptop, unless that includes media editing, rendering or transferring large amounts of data

if all you're doing is browsing the internet and writing essays, any £300-500 laptop, or even a chromebook, with good reviews will be fine

For a cheaper price look at currys ebay as they can sell new products that people have returned just because of a slightly broken box. I've bought a laptop and tv from there and both were never used and in perfect condition but just had slightly creased boxes. The company also check the item once returned. It could make a £500 laptop only cost you £400
