Can I still apply to Newcastle uni??

I want to apply to Newcastle university for chemical engineering since I’m eligible for partners which means my grades can be BBB.However they say that I need a 6 in gcse physics but I only have a 5. And I don’t take physics A level.Would they still consider me or not?

It says GCSE double award science or physics at minimum grade 6 if physics isn’t taken at A level.
