Am I the only one who finds Clinton Cards shops to be creepy?

There is something unnatural about them, I must admit. Their layout always seem to follow a prescribed style of a 'foyer' area (very 90s in feel) with vertical rows behind it. The stuff in the very middle of the shop is always really bland. The best way to navigate a Clinton Cards is just do a tour of the foyer and the outer edges.

I worked in one as a Christmas temp about 4 or 5 years ago now and really enjoyed it. It wasn't great when it was quiet as there was never much to do other than make sure all the cards were in their right places and looking neat. I loved filling up the helium balloons though.
