Are CGP or York notes worth buying for studying a level eng lit- or would reaseraching critical analysis online be better?

I hated york notes tbh and my teacher said avoid at all costs as the ideas and analysis is just recycled jargon. I loved the cgp guides for both gcse and a level as i found them concise and easy to understand with some very originally ideas / analysis in them that i had never even considered! hope this helps xx, wht texts r u studying?
