Theft problem question

D found the wallet on the floor. He took the wallet, opened it and took money. Later, he left the wallet but kept the note. It is a problem question. Should I consider taking wallet from the floor and taking money as two separate theft offences?

Thank you!!!

I would say yes but the main approbation and main focus potentially needs to be on the wallet as this was the property that was visible and seen, yes its a given that money has a wallet in it but the initially act of appropriation would be the taking of the wallet. Work through the AR and MR for both instances, but the MR for the wallet could potentially fail as he put it back? it could be considered transferred potentially? as he went for the Wallet but got money instead and ended up leaving the wallet
