Lol. Okay doc bot.

You’re malfunctioning.

Irrelevant it may be, however in the doctorate world, they go over every little detail.

When I say, they are precise, you should see the docs at work, second to none. Precise they are 95% of the time.

Doctorate = PhD
Anyway I’m not a medical student so I don’t care about nomenclature. I get straight to the point and know what I need to know :yy:

It’s good brain training if anything.
Yes you can.

Say you have Alzheimer’s. Problem solved.

No thank you, we already need to know a lot of stuff as it is. Anything irrelevant gets put into a tiny corner of the hippocampus, forever forgotten.

:mwuaha:
Come on Doc. When you’re on ward rounds, you’re not expected to remember everything, because the patient are doing the work for you.

I’ve seen the docs tactics and it’s honestly getting worn out. 🤣

Not forgetting the DC either that confirms the patient is giving you all the right info, unless they’re really out of it.

My mum only ever gets own-brand ice creams  Iceland have a good duplicate of Magnum, I think they’re called Magestics.

You and Zara make me feel so bad - I never thought to learn more about dentistry before I actually entered dental school so all the info bar what we were taught in A Levels was new to me :colondollar: You’re both doing so well with your further reading, keep it up

Ooh I will look out for them. Although I don't think I've ever been to Iceland

Aww no, to be fair you probably are better because the things we learn may be less exciting if we already know about them. I'm just a little addicted to learning as much as I can :colondollar: Aww thank you! :h: Out of interest, and I don't think I've asked this before (if I have don't feel obliged to answer) but why did you decide to do dentistry?

My reason for dentistry is a mix of things:
- I wanted to do something in healthcare but not medicine (the junior doctor phase and the idea of needing to know everything put me off. I prefer specialising in one area. Obviously doctors can become consultants but that’s only after many years of training).
- I liked the creative side of dentistry. I attended an event in year 12 where we got to do wax ups and I loved it. The idea of fillings and impressions and making prostheses really interested me too.
- Family members have had really bad experiences at their dentist (thankfully changed now) and just healthcare and NHS in general so I wanted to be part of the change to make sure the things they experienced doesn’t happen to other patients.
I’m going to shoot myself. This document is so long.
