If you look at the management consulting jobs, none of them really asks for a degree in management. They usually ask for high grades (including A Level grades) and any degree e.g. you can go into management consulting with a degree in History if your grades are high enough.

Consulting is more about being able to present and sell. If you feel like you're lacking any management knowledge, people tend to do the CIMA or an accounting qualification to supplement their knowledge. The information you learn in management tend not to be looked into.
