Should the COVID-19 Vaccine be mandatory for medical students?

I'm interested to hear people's opinions!
I think it should be. Making vaccines mandatory for U.K. medical students is not a new thing- currently you have to have rubella, BCG and hep B to be allowed onto medical courses as that’s the nhs requirement to interact with patients and without that you cannot complete a medical degree in U.K.
It should be mandatory for all medical professionals as they work with vulnerable individuals. If you don’t like it, no one is forcing you to be in a caring profession. But also if you don’t want to have it what sort of message is that sending? You don’t trust the doctors and scientists you will be working with and learning from throughout your training…
At the end of the day medical school vaccine requirements are determined by the nhs as that’s where placements occur so if the nhs decides doctors need to be vaccinated then you have a choice- don’t get vaccinated and go elsewhere for your training and life as a doctor or pick a different career OR get vaccinated and train as a doctor in U.K. simple as that really!
