My daughter has just started at Bath and wants to change accommodation. She doesn’t want a quiet flat but wants a quieter location than what she has been allocated. Any views on the likelihood of being able to change rooms and the timescale?

I don't know Bath's policy, but there may be a mechanism to request a room move. (Worth scanning the accommodation Terms and Conditions for this.)
Students who drop out early tend to do so from mid October, so there will be possibilities and free spaces emerging from then onwards.
