how would you answer this question

Using examples, describe the process of rural dilution and assess the impact that the process might have on both rural and urban communities. [6 marks]What would you put? I was thinking about putting a case study on china but I wasn't too sure how to start it

First of all you need to DESCRIBE rural dilution.
- What is rural dilution? Define it
- Who is involved?
- Who/where does it impact?
- Specifically define 'dilution'
- Give an example
Secondly, you need to ASSESS the impact on 1. Rural communities and 2. Urban communities
1. Rural Communities
- What is the positive impact on rural communities?
- What is the negative impact on rural communities?
- What is the long-term impact on rural communities?
- What is the short-term impact on rural communities?
2. Urban Communities
- Repeat what you have done for rural communities

Make sure you use key word terms and appropriate examples/case study - think about linking back to the question and make sure you ASSESS the impact!
Is this A-level Geography?
