Games Dev Courses in NW Unis?

Hi everyone,

I'm going to be starting university in Sep 23, however I'd like to get a head start and have been searching for universities for a while now.

I am looking for a university that offers a games development course in the North West area/Lancashire. I need to be able to commute from at least Blackburn, whether it be through bus or train.

The degree should be decent and an enjoyable experience so any students who are currently doing a course on games development in these universities, please feel free to comment your stories and such.

Bonus points to universities which offer clubs such as gaming/esports, a good campus experience and in general, an environment you'd want to be in. I'm not a big fan of drinking (I'm 19), so I don't really look for the nightlife culture.

no replies so im bumping this to see if I can get an answer.

I don't mind it being Comp Sci either, I am looking to break into the games development industry after uni though. So having a GD degree or Comp Sci degree would be nice.
