Explain how the two reading processes (i.e inferring and clarifying) differ

For example, if a reader encounters a word that they are not familiar with, they might use a dictionary or thesaurus to clarify the meaning. Clarifying can also involve re-reading a section of text or asking questions to ensure a clear understanding.
