Film Studies Degree
I've decided to pursue a film studies degree but was wondering if there is anything I can do to better my chances of getting into a good Uni? Any advice would be great 
It goes without saying that you should be able to write/talk about films you have seen - and this should go beyond the big commercial releases. If there is an arts cinema near you, hopefully you are already going to see a wide range of films. Perhaps you have a genre of special interest (eg horror, thriller, historical) - if you do, then make sure you can talk about it in an informed way. Or maybe a director whose work you particularly like and follow with interest.
