Generally speaking, does anyone know if you need a Computer Science IGCSE to get into a cs university, or if you only need maths and science? And do you need to take computer science in Y12 and 13 as well?
Generally speaking, does anyone know if you need a Computer Science IGCSE to get into a cs university, or if you only need maths and science? And do you need to take computer science in Y12 and 13 as well?
No, you don't. Not all schools offer CS as a subject, (iGCSE or A'Levels) to study CS. Maths is always a good core subject though and some might ask for Further maths depending on how selective the university is e.g Imperial College.
There are also some universities that also don't require Maths for CS e.g Cardiff, Liverpool, Sussex, UEA off the top of my head.
