Should you mention ASD when applying to unviersity?

Will mentioning that you're autistic help or hinder you being accepted onto a course? I know they're not allowed to discriminate, but I'm wondering if it will influence being accepted by Oxbridge.
It will neither help nor hinder: if you decide to declare it (and I would urge you to if you're applying to Oxbridge) by ticking the disability box, then all that happens is they know whether to ask if you need any reasonable adjustments for the application process/if you were to eventually attend their uni.

The reason I would urge you to declare is because you can only get the support you need if they know you may need it. DSA (Disabled Students' Allowance) can take a while to set up and I really don't recommend starting an Oxbridge course or attending an Oxbridge interview without reasonable adjustments/accommodations being in place for you!
