should i do law or biomed degree?

Hi guys I'm currently in year 12 and i have the subjects needed to do both biomed and law. at first i wanted to do biomed and specialise in neuroscience but the more research into different things the more i want to do law as well. i really haven't got the best advice on what to do and i am honestly scared if i make the wrong decision. One lifetime is not enough i want to be so much but time is limited :')

If you did biomed, you could do a law conversion course afterwards if you decide that’s what you want to do?

No worries! It’s also known as the GDL (graduate diploma in law), it’s a year long course. I think there are places that do a two year long course known as MA law

Hi @sanaig,

I'm currently a second-year at Lancaster Uni. Although I do science, I did struggle when coming to uni to decide what course to choose. I went about this by choosing my university first before my degree. I went to all the open days I could and chose which ones I liked best based on the campuses, student life, how helpful and friendly my departments were etc. After I chose my top unis for me, I looked at the compulsory modules and optional modules for my degrees and then based my decisions off of that.

All that being said, a law conversion course is a good option if you are not sure yet. That way you get to experience both subjects and then choose.

Hope this helps-
