Forensic Psychology

To become a forensic psychologist in the UK, do I need a masters in forensic psychology specifically or can I do a masters in clinical and then do a doctorate/2 years of supervised practice?
There's a few routes to become a registered forensic psychologist after a BSc

- Forensic Psychology MSc (Stage 1, a year full time) followed by the professional doctorate (Stage 2, three years full time)
- Forensic Psychology MSc (Stage 1), followed by a top-up course (Stage 2, two years full time)
- Forensic Psychology MSc (Stage 1), followed by the BPS Qualification (Stage 2, between 3-5 years on average)

Both the doctorate and BPS qualification require an MSc in Forensic Psychology, not Clinical.
