Thinking about my alevel options

Im a year 10 student and i study food preparation and nutrition
i want to go into the food science industry when im older but there is no food related a level options
im thinking of taking chemistry but other than that im not sure
any advice would be really great to find out what route i need to take thanks

Maybe Bio? Also, a relative of mine is studying food tech at uni and he took maths and psych, along with chemistry.

Look into the courses on unis websites to see if they specify any particular subjects. If they dont specify any particular subjects then take whichever you think may be useful/subjects you think you will get good grades in.
Biology may be useful.

If you’re interested in food science, a food science degree might be useful. The subjects that are usually required are A Level Biology and Chemistry, with an emphasis on Chemistry. Hope this helps.

Heya!
I would recommend looking up some unis courses and seeing their entry requirements. They might ask for sciences like biology etc :h: You can use uniguide for it!
