Essay Exam at Uni
How many words would be good/okay for a 2 hour essay exam with 2 unseen questions (1 hour each)? Would 500-600 words be okay or that's not enough?
I have an exam with the same conditions, 2 hours with 2 unseen essay questions, and my lecturer said to do a maximum of 1000 words. Obviously it depends on the lecturer and on the subject, but I would say try and write a little more if you can.

that makes sense. I forgot to add that 500 words per question making it 1000 words altogether and it’s handwritten.
