Postgraduate English Programs
Hello! I'm a US resident who's been given unconditional offers for masters programs in English at both St. Andrews and the University of Edinburgh (very exciting!). But, I'm trying to decide which to accept, and while I have a decent idea about what it might be like to live in either place, I'm struggling to figure out how the programs themselves compare. Can only afford to fly over there once, so I can't visit :/. Does anyone have any insights?
My perception so far is that St. Andrews has a uniquely collaborative program, while Edinburgh is more independent. Is that true? Also, is there one that you would automatically think of as more prestigious and impressive to have attended?
