student accomodation

Hello there! I am planning to enroll UoR by Sep 2023, now looking for accomodation. I am considering a studio at Wessex hall, but I hear that the facilities are a bit old, especially the bathroom? Many thanks if you could tell me more about it!

Hello @SamanthaQX, great to hear you plan to enroll in September 2023! When I was first year I stayed in St George`s so haven`t got a personal experience of Wessex hall. I knew one or two people who stayed in Wessex Hall in first year and they loved it! It is 0.7 km from the centre of Whiteknights campus. Another reason why Wessex hall is a great place to stay is that there are fully equipped shared kitchen and dinings area and Wessex hall has also got a mini-cinema! Wessex hall is also a great place to socialise because they have their own bar!
