I might have made a huge mistake

My english lit teacher has told us in class we don't have to refer to the extract if we don't want to. Which i did, however i think I've made a mistake by doing so in my exam today

Don't worry if you have shown your knowledge of the play or novel then you could achieve a decent grade. But the important thing is to have quotes and without them you will struggle to get a pass so i hope you will get the grades you want. Good Luck.
