Do I have to give up my social housing if I start university?
Hey everyone,
I'm currently occupying a 3 bedroom social housing property, I live on my own now. I originally took over the lease via successions rights after my mother passed away one of my siblings continued living with me at the time.
Just a side note, don't know if this is helpful but I do have a long term medical condition.
I have thought about giving up my social housing as my choice of university offers 52 weeks accommodation to estranged students under the age of 25, I am 22 years old. I'm really scared about the thought of becoming homeless after leaving university as I have no one to go home to or a home to go to, and wonder if it's best to keep my social housing if I am elligble to.
For my degree, I picked drama, theatre and acting, I know that my salary will change quite a lot, that's what I'm also worried about.
Can anyone give me advice?
