Advice re. MSc/MRes Biomedical courses - Imperial, Kings, QMUL

Hi!

I'm looking to undertake a masters degree following my graduation from BSc Biomedical Science this summer. I'm currently working toward a predicted first. However, I'm struggling to find much information on these programmes apart from some generic module names. The courses I'm particularly looking at are:

MSc/MRes Biomedical & Molecular Sciences Research - King's College London

MRes Biomedical Research (General Biomedical Research) - Imperial College London

MSc Biomedical Science (Medical Microbiology)/BSc Biomedical Sciences

If anyone has any experience with these programmes, I'd love to hear a bit about your application process, the general structure of the course and how you managed to fund the programme? And if you've graduated, what kind of path have you taken since then?

Also, if anyone has any advice over choosing between an MRes or and MSc programme, please do share! MRes seems to be significantly more expensive, but the extra research experience does sound appealing.

Thank you so much!
I'm doing an MSc - I'm not particularly interested in research but also I found the idea of creating my own research proposal (which many unis require as part of the application) to be quite daunting. I'll be studying my masters at imperial and for my course I simply had to submit a CV, application (basically a personal statement) and two references (at least one of which is academic).

If you'd like any advice about applying to imperial please ask!
