Went 34 in a 30 past a speed gun

This morning I was driving at 30 when I accidentally went up to 34 and then back down to 30, all in the view of a police speed gun. I’ve already done a speed awareness course in the past year, will I get 3 points?

Nobody can tell you what will happen, your car speedometer can have a different reading that the speed guns. You need to wait a few days or weeks, if you don't receive any letter from the police you're safe.

34 on your speedometer probably means anywhere between 30-33 depending on the age, mileage, and build quality of your car.
Most police forces will not prosecute you unless you exceed a specified tolerance, which is usually 110% of the speed limit plus 1 or 2 mph, so you typically will not be fined unless you exceed 34/35 mph.
However, the law is the law and they can fine you for doing 31/32/33.
You should be fine, but you may well get 3 points if the PC in question was in a bad mood.
indicated 34 or calbrated / GPS 34 ?
