Extenuating circumstances - Nauseous

I wrote my exam today though have been feeling Nauseous all day (suspect due to food poisoning). Is it worth applying for extenuating circumstances? Whilst I wasn't actually physically sick I definitely couldn't work at my normal pace, I couldn't concentrate well and I had to go to the toilet at one point (taking valuable time) so I'm sure my mark will be lower than it would have been otherwise.
I'm not sure if they'll accept this reason though as on the options on the considerations form are to be allowed an additional attempt, or for the mark to be set aside. Both of which seem quite drastic.

I doubt it would be accepted as you would need to have seen a doctor who can confirm food poisoning on the date of the exam.
