retaking year 12?

I’m currently studying maths, english lit and history at A levels and have come to consider taking medicine at uni. Obviously with my A levels this won’t be possible, so I’m thinking of dropping english lit and taking biology and chemistry A level next year, so I’d do maths and history a level, and biology and chemistry as level, meaning I’d have to retake year 12. I was wondering if anyone had any advice or experience with this, and if they’d recommend me doing this. I’m honestly so stressed right now as I don’t know what else i would like to study at uni, and would appreciate any advice

Are you sure that you want to do medicine? It's probably not great but I can link some quizzes that may direct you if you want to look into other careers,

I would suggest you read about all of the different university courses there are and maybe look at the cambridge reading list for each subject and read one of those books. If you find that you are interested in that course that look wider and keep digging to make sure it is perfect for you.

has a list of uni degrees and where you can study those courses.
